This position supports patients transitioning to home respiratory care, providing essential equipment setup, troubleshooting, and education while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Hours:

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM +

Driving Requirement:

~10 hours per week +

Coverage Area:

Up to 2.5 hours south and 2 hours north of the New Brighton branch; will also support the Rochester, MN branch.

• Salary range
• + $30 - $35/hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
• On-Call transparency
• + On-call coverage is approximately 2 weeks per month.
• What you'll do
• + Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups.

+ Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. + Assess patient needs, document care delivered and + escalate concerns appropriately. + Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs, + Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams. + Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop. + Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation. + Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition. + Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs. + Performs other duties as required.

• What we look for
• + Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active MN RT license.

WI and IA RT License preferred or willingness to obtain. + Open to various experience levels; preference for experienced candidates. DME experience is a plus. + Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs. + Valid driver's license. + Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation.

• Education
• + Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
• + Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy. + Hold a current CPR Certification. + Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.
