Experience:
Minimum 2 years required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Columbia, Missouri. This role supports ICU, NICU, ER, and floor therapy patients, including neonatal, infant, adult, and geriatric populations, with a strong focus on critical care, ventilator management, respiratory treatments, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy care across ICU, NICU, ER, and floor therapy settings Manage mechanical ventilation, noninvasive ventilation, inhaled medications, and critical respiratory support Perform arterial punctures, respiratory assessments, treatments, and patient monitoring Support patients with respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, CHF, ARDS, COVID-19, and related conditions Document care accurately using Meditech and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Requirements Active Missouri Respiratory Therapist License Required Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
BLS/BCLS
Certification Required RRT Or CRT Certification Required Mechanical ventilation, critical care, and respiratory treatment experience required; NICU experience preferred Step into a strong Respiratory Therapist opportunity where your critical care skills, ventilator management experience, and patient-focused approach can support safe respiratory outcomes.
