Desired Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Adaptability to new environments and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive respiratory care treatments Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, mechanical ventilation, and other modalities Monitor patient response and modify therapy as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff Educate patients and families on respiratory care topics Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility guidelines
