Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid certification through the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) BLS and ACLS certification required Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment abilities Adaptability in fast-paced and changing healthcare environments
Role Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory care procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management Monitor and document patient responses and progress accurately Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment as needed Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
