Respiratory Care Practitioner WEO

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (Weekend Option) manages respiratory therapy for both inpatients and outpatients. Essential Job Function Performs all respiratory duties as assigned. Monitors patients for any adverse events and communicates effectively with the healthcare team about any changes or concerns.

Education Required:

HS Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of accredited RT program

Experience Required:

3 years of experience working in acute clinical care, or completion of equivalent acute care clinical rotations

Licensure/Certification/Listing Required:

Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a RRT. Must be licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board as a CRT or RRT; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider; ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
