Hours/Schedule:
Travel assignment (specific scheduled hours discussed during interview)
What You'll Bring:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state licensure (or eligibility for NC licensure) BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred) Previous experience in acute or critical care respiratory therapy strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and charting systems
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care in accordance with established clinical protocols Conduct assessments, manage ventilators, and provide airway management for patients of various acuity levels Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team on patient care planning Administer diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures Educate patients and families on treatment options and equipment use Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility standards
