Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with expertise in both adult care and NICU environments for a contract opportunity. This dynamic position welcomes first-time travelers and requires flexibility to float across multiple facilities within the region, ensuring comprehensive care for a wide range of patient needs.
Schedule:
Rotating assignments across various facilities as needed Floating may be required during shifts (travel time compensated and remains on the clock)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Respiratory Therapy Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current North Carolina Respiratory Care licensure Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (Resource Team Roles) Proficient in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies Experience with EPIC EMR and familiarity with Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a diverse adult and NICU patient population Manage and operate advanced respiratory technology across different care environments Collaborate effectively with respiratory care leadership and staff, maintaining strong communication and teamwork Float between designated regional hospital and emergency departments as regional needs dictate Participate in orientation (including facility and unit) and adhere to department culture and values
