Required Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active NC Respiratory Care license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification;
ACLS/PALS
preferred Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, airway management, and oxygen therapy Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests Provide patient and family education on respiratory treatments and therapies Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and safety standards
