1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract open to both Adult and NICU-trained candidates. Details Inpatient hospital respiratory therapy setting Open to candidates with Adult or NICU respiratory therapy experience Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience Current certifications required:
BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Respiratory therapy credential required: CRT or RRT North Dakota Respiratory Care license required if applicable Additional Information Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory treatments and physician assistance to adult or neonatal patients Identify and communicate significant changes in patient condition to appropriate care team members Responsible for transport of infants to and from referral health systems, providing high-quality critical care during transport Perform disassembly, cleaning, assembly, and preventative maintenance of respiratory equipment per standard operating procedure Complete all documentation including order entry, EMR charting, medication charting, and patient safety/incident variance reports Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action per standard operating procedure Provide patient and family education and support tailored to individual needs
