Job Description
Travel/Contract Respiratory Therapist needed for a 13‑week assignment in or near Jamestown, North Dakota. Provide pediatric and adolescent respiratory care in a long‑term care setting, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Opportunity to impact patient outcomes while working flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including infants to teens aged 8-15, in a long-term care and disability services setting. Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to therapies, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Administer tracheostomy care and assist with ventilator management, maintaining compliance with facility protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to pediatric and adolescent needs. Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and safety measures to promote understanding and compliance.Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program leading to a registered respiratory therapist credential. Valid North Dakota Respiratory Therapist license. BLS certification. NRP certification. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience with pediatric and adolescent populations. Comfortable with tracheostomy care and ability to work flexible shifts. Excellent communication skills. Experience with infant to teen patient care.Benefits:
