This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Respiratory Therapist ready to provide high-level respiratory care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred) Strong knowledge of respiratory modalities, equipment, and therapies Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts available based on facility needs
Essential Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care for patients with a variety of pulmonary disorders Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer therapy, airway management, and mechanical ventilation Respond promptly to emergency situations, performing CPR and other life-saving interventions as required Accurately monitor, record, and report patient progress and ventilator settings in accordance with hospital protocols Educate patients and families regarding respiratory health, treatment plans, and equipment usage Maintain safety standards through infection control protocols and strict adherence to hospital guidelines
