Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Elevate patient care by bringing your respiratory therapy expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist licensure Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred BLS and ACLS certifications Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly preferred Proficient with ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and related respiratory equipment Strong communication and collaborative skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in fast-paced situations
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care procedures for patients in accordance with physician orders Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting as needed for patient safety and outcomes Manage ventilators, administer respiratory medications, and educate patients and family members on care plans Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all organizational and regulatory policies Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as part of the patient care team
