About the Job Ways of Living has developed a revolutionary approach to support home care clients using respiratory and enteral nutrition equipment. We are building a network of passionate therapists who want to be able to focus on what is best for their clients. About the Company The mission of Ways of Living is to prioritize exceptional client care with a life participation focus when supplying home respiratory and enteral nutritional devices and supplies. Our vision is to improve client success with home respiratory and enteral nutritional devices through high levels of communication, relationship building, consideration of what would be easiest and best for the people we serve, and to challenge the status quo in client care through personalized experiences and exemplary service.
Compensation:
$35 - $50 / hour - depending on experience Benefits

  • Contract PRN position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Compassionately works with clients on using their respiratory equipment and supplies
  • Engagingly educates clients and care providers on their equipment and procedures
  • Empathetically supports clients and care providers in the use and maintenance of their equipment and ensures the equipment is working properly
  • Skillfully performs related clinical assessments and tests
  • Effectively supplies respiratory equipment including but not limited to noninvasive and invasive mechanical ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, suction machines, and other related equipment
  • Efficiently maintains medical records to document progress and ensure continuity of care
  • Professionally consults with the referring physician as needed to ensure the Plan of care is being met
  • Proactively wears personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect self and client
  • Innovatively helps clients and care providers generate strategies to increase life participation and improve quality of life Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Successful background check Education and/or Experience
  • Registered respiratory therapist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Professional Designations
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance or ability to have a driver for home visits
  • Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Hold a current RCP license in the state(s) where clients will be served
  • Have current CPR certification
  • Maintain all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Commitment to compassionate care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
