True Responsibilities Provide high-quality respiratory therapy to patients per physician orders and protocols. Assess patient needs, document progress, and adjust treatments accordingly. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality targets using data dashboards. Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in the EMR system. Participate in continuous professional development and attend mandatory trainings. Supervise and mentor entry-level RT staff and students as applicable. Monitor and manage device inventories, ordering supplies as needed. Educate patients and families about therapies, devices, and discharge plans. Engage in pipeline planning and territory coverage to support growth targets. Experience/Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current licensure. Experience delivering inpatient respiratory therapy per physician orders. Strong infection control and safety protocol adherence. Proficiency with EMR documentation and progress note standards. Ability to interpret data dashboards and meet productivity targets. Commitment to ongoing professional development and mandatory trainings. Leadership experience supervising RT staff or students. Competence in inventory management and supply ordering. Patient and family education on therapies, devices, and discharge plans. Participation in pipeline planning and territory coverage for growth.
