Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current licensure to practice as an RRT in New Jersey (or eligibility) Previous experience as a respiratory therapist in acute care settings preferred BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Adaptability and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat patients requiring respiratory care in accordance with established protocols Administer various types of respiratory therapy and life support for patients with compromised lung function Operate and maintain sophisticated respiratory and ventilatory equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately
