The Respiratory Educator is responsible for the orientation, continuing education, and staff development of the Respiratory Care staff/patients consistent with the goals of the department.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Therapy Program. BS or BA. Six years' experience as a staff Respiratory Therapist. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Masters degree preferred. Prior experience as an educator in the Respiratory profession.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License. NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Contacts:
Regular contact with Medical Center Personnel, patients and visitors.
Working Conditions:
