1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of critical care experience, including pediatric experience, for a night shift travel assignment at a Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM. Details Work in the Respiratory Care Services department of a 194-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah Specialties covered include critical care, ICU, general respiratory modalities, trauma, rapid response team, and stroke team Patient population spans newborn to geriatric, with occasional general pediatric care Equipment used includes PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Respironics BiPAP V60, Fischer & Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow EMR is Cerner Night shift, 7PM-7AM Rotating weekend hours required No call or on-call requirements No floating required 13-week contract Requirements Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRTs will not be considered New Mexico state licensure required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care/ICU and/or ED settings Pediatric experience required Additional Information Provide respiratory therapy services across critical care, ICU, trauma, rapid response, stroke, and general respiratory modalities Occasional involvement in general pediatric care Area-specific competency exam and skills checklist required for consideration Farmington, NM is located in the scenic San Juan River Valley, approximately 1 hour from Durango, CO and 3 hours from Albuquerque, NM, with access to hiking, kayaking, historic sites, and six National Parks
