Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid respiratory care license in the state or eligibility to obtain Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of respiratory care Strong communication and collaboration abilities Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans Administer treatments, therapies, and medications as ordered by providers Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators Educate patients and families on respiratory health and therapy procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and provide support during critical situations
