Job Description

Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Must reside at least 100 miles from Reno, NV Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with valid credentials ABG License required Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Minimum 3+ years' experience in level 3 NICU, including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for neonates, neonatal intubation, ventilator management, arterial puncture, and delivery attendance NICU transport experience preferred Confident working across all adult and neonatal critical care areas
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver physician-prescribed respiratory care, including assessment, therapy, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities Obtain and interpret physiological data, perform diagnostic tests, and analyze specimens Manage mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, hemodynamic support, and pharmacological respiratory therapies Provide bronchopulmonary hygiene and participate in cardiopulmonary rehab Float seamlessly between units as needed, including on-call coverage
