Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT). Experience caring for patients of all ages with pulmonary disorders. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting cardiopulmonary equipment. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to perform airway management, including intubation and extubation. Proven ability to educate patients and families effectively.

Schedule/Hours:

Travel assignment; flexible shifts as required by facility.

Core Responsibilities:

Gather and interpret data to accurately assess patient health status. Assess patients based on their unique physical and age-related needs. Observe, document, and communicate symptoms, reactions, and progress. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures. Manage airways including endotracheal procedures and tracheostomy care. Deliver life support in emergencies and provide pulmonary hygiene care. Offer health education both to patients and through community outreach.
