Qualifications/Experience:

Valid and current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field Certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred Prior clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist highly desirable Strong communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care treatment plans for patients of all ages Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilation management Monitor and maintain equipment such as ventilators and oxygen delivery systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to optimize patient care Provide patient and family education on respiratory health, equipment usage, and therapy techniques Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient progress according to facility guidelines Respond to emergency respiratory situations and support rapid response teams as needed
