Days 36 hours per week

Qualifications and Certifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required by the NBRC Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Desired Experience:

Proficient in critical care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) respiratory therapies Experience with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system Ability to participate in external patient transports

Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory care to critically ill adult and neonatal patients Operate and manage ventilators including noninvasive and invasive support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory therapy plans Perform patient assessments, monitor therapy effectiveness, and adjust treatments as necessary Ensure compliance with safety standards during patient transport activities This position offers a rewarding environment to apply specialized respiratory skills with a possibility to broaden experience in external patient transport coordination.
