Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Owego, NY, is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a contract assignment. This position requires a compassionate professional with critical care experience and the ability to work with advanced respiratory equipment.

Days 36 hours per week 13-week contract
Qualifications:
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications mandatory Experience in critical care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) settings Proficient with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system Ability to participate in external patient transports
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care for critical and neonatal patients Operate and manage advanced ventilators and respiratory devices Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Conduct patient assessments and monitor respiratory status Assist in emergency and transport situations as needed This contract position is ideal for qualified therapists ready for a focused engagement with a well-equipped facility in a supportive environment. Candidates must be able to fulfill external transport duties and work day shifts as outlined. to contribute your expertise in respiratory therapy and support vital patient care in Owego, NY. Compensation for this position ranges from $23.44 to $40.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
