Schedule:

Nights 36 hours per week 13-week contract

Qualifications:

Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist license Experience in critical care and NICU settings Proficiency with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Prior use of EPIC electronic medical records Ability to participate in external patient transports as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Manage ventilators and delivery systems, ensuring patient safety and comfort Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and critical care patients Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses using EPIC Respond to emergency situations and collaborate with healthcare team members during rapid response or code events Accompany and support patients during transport outside the facility
