Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Take your expertise in respiratory care to the next level in this contract opportunity as a Respiratory Therapist. Key Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current, valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment and techniques Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in dynamic healthcare settings
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based respiratory therapy for patients with acute and chronic conditions Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and airway management equipment Implement physician-ordered treatments including nebulizer therapy, bronchodilator administration, and pulmonary function testing Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatment plans, and equipment use Maintain accurate documentation of therapies, patient progress, and clinical interventions Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure high standards of care
