Respiratory Therapist (RT) Split Rock Rehabilitation and Health Care Center - 3.7 Bronx, NY Job Details Full-time $50 - $60 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Basic life support State-specific respiratory therapist license RCP License Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Respiratory Therapist ( RT) to join our clinical team on a Full Time basis. This role supports the delivery of critical respiratory care to residents in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. From ventilator management to airway stabilization and resident education, you'll be an essential part of our clinical operations and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver all respiratory therapy services in accordance with established policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Provide ventilator care management and support for residents with complex respiratory needs. Maintain airway patency and provide emergency respiratory interventions as needed. Administer respiratory medications and monitor their effectiveness. Set up, monitor, and adjust respiratory therapy equipment. Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans and equipment use. Serve as a vital member of the CPR/emergency response team.
Qualifications:
Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) in [Insert State]. BLS certification (ACLS preferred). Previous experience in a skilled nursing, sub-acute, or long-term care setting is a plus. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Schedule & Availability:
Per Diem 12-Hour Shifts Weekend availability is required
