  • Outpatient Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine New York Comprehensive Medical Care (NYCMC) is actively hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our growing outpatient Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice in Smithtown, NY.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs), Spirometry, Six-Minute Walk Testing, CPET (training available), FeNO testing, and pulse oximetry/oxygen evaluations
  • Educate patients on COPD, asthma, inhaler techniques, oxygen therapy, and CPAP/BiPAP
  • Coordinate care with physicians, sleep labs, DME vendors, and home oxygen providers
  • Assist with prior authorizations and clinical documentation
  • Support patient flow and clinical operations
What We're Looking For:
  • Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License (required)
  • RRT preferred; CRT with strong experience warmly considered
  • 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience preferred (outpatient pulmonary/sleep experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • EMR experience preferred
