Desired Qualifications:

Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy Active New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist Minimum of 2 years acute care clinical experience post-degree Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health clearance

Key Responsibilities:

Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies to patients Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy regimens Assist physicians in establishing and maintaining continuous ventilation Deliver cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as needed Conduct pulmonary function tests and perform radial arterial punctures Carry out the full range of acute care respiratory therapy tasks with minimal orientation and supervision
