Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC Current BLS and ACLS certifications New York State Respiratory Therapy License Demonstrated experience in critical care and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) settings Proficiency with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records Flexibility and readiness to participate in external patient transports

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to acute and critically ill patients, including neonates and adults Operate advanced ventilation equipment, ensuring optimal function and patient safety Perform patient assessments, initiate treatment plans, and monitor patient progress Accurately document care in EPIC and update interdisciplinary teams as needed Support patients during external transports, maintaining a calm and organized approach in dynamic environments Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care Why Apply?
