Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care and contribute to improving patient outcomes through exceptional clinical support and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Assess and address age-specific patient needs using principles of growth and development. Maintain accurate patient records in both paper and electronic formats. Enter patient information into computerized medical records and billing systems. Perform oxygen, CPAP, and BiPAP titrations as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care. Assist with EEG patient testing as needed. Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Current New York State Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Respiratory Therapy Technician (RTT) license required to perform oxygen, CPAP, and Bi-level titrations. Current BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required. Polysomnography experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
