7:00 PM•7:30 AM Full‑Time Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) Opportunity Scarlet Oaks Care Center is seeking a Full‑Time Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our specialized ventilator care team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment Administer prescribed therapeutic gases and aerosolized medications Monitor patient response to respiratory therapy treatments Perform respiratory assessments and evaluate patient progress Ensure treatment parameters including volume, gas concentration, humidity, and temperature are accurate Observe, troubleshoot, and adjust respiratory equipment to ensure optimal therapy Report adverse reactions or changes in patient condition to physicians and nursing staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required Inspect, test, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment; arrange for repair as needed Assist with training and education of staff as appropriate Requirements•Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License Required Respiratory Therapist certifications Ability to function independently during night shift hours Strong communication and clinical skills Commitment to patient‑centered respiratory care Education & Experience One to three months of Respiratory Therapist experience and/or training preferred Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
