Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Experience the welcoming community of Maumee, OH—a destination with both charm and opportunity. Set just outside the dynamic city of Toledo, Maumee offers an ideal blend of professional advancement and memorable travel adventures. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you'll gain exposure to different workplace cultures and leadership styles, giving you the skills and confidence to advance your career while enjoying enriching experiences during your time off. This role provides an opportunity to care for patients spanning neonate to geriatric populations while participating in innovative respiratory care practices. You will have the chance to work in a variety of clinical settings, including intensive care units and specialty areas, helping you diversify your expertise and expand your resume. You'll also be required to float to nearby hospitals as needed, providing exposure to even more environments and teams.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour PM shifts Every other weekend and holiday rotation 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Deliver invasive and non-invasive respiratory care under physician direction Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary impairments Administer respiratory treatments and assess therapeutic effectiveness Communicate clearly with the health care team, patients, and families Float to other facilities in the Toledo region as required
Qualifications:
Current Ohio Respiratory Care license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) strongly preferred; will consider CRT Minimum of 2 years clinical experience ACLS and BLS certifications required; NRP required for NICU assignments Proficient with ventilators, airway management, and arterial punctures Strong interpersonal and communication skills
