Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your career as a vital member of a healthcare team delivering expert respiratory care. This role calls for a skilled Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist who excels in dynamic and collaborative clinical settings. With a contract duration of 13 weeks, you will have an opportunity to make a real difference in patient outcomes by utilizing your training and specialized knowledge.
Schedule/Hours:
Shift:
Three 12-hour night shifts (6:00 pm - 6:30 am)
On-call:
Four nights on a six-week rotation to provide additional coverage
Qualifications:
Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential strongly preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital environments Flexibility to participate in on-call schedules as specified
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory disorders Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in developing individualized care plans Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures such as ventilator management, aerosol therapy, airway clearance techniques, and arterial blood gas analysis Accurately document patient progress and therapy effectiveness in accordance with facility protocols Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and code calls Participate in on-call duties to provide coverage when needed
