Location:
Millersburg, Ohio (We accept locals and travelers!) Hospital Setting $53/hour 13-Week Contract with Extension Opportunities Weekly Pay - Every Friday We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a critical access hospital in Millersburg, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for an independent clinician who thrives in a rural healthcare setting and enjoys a high level of autonomy.
Position Details Shift:
Nights Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts per week
Preferred Schedule:
Straight Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 36 hours per week 13-week contract assignment Strong potential for contract renewals Weekly pay every Friday Immediate start available Facility Overview Critical Access Hospital Average hospital census typically less than 15 patients Sole Respiratory Therapist on duty during scheduled shifts Primary support for: Emergency Department (ED) Obstetrics (OB) Department Inpatient units as needed Responsibilities Provide respiratory care services throughout the hospital Respond to respiratory emergencies in the Emergency Department Support labor and delivery and neonatal care needs Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and patient monitoring Collaborate with nursing and provider teams to deliver high-quality patient care Function independently while managing respiratory services for the facility during assigned shifts Required Qualifications Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state licensure (or eligibility) Previous hospital-based respiratory therapy experience Ability to work independently and confidently as the sole RT on shift Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and clinically strong Respiratory Therapist who is comfortable working independently, supporting a broad patient population, and providing exceptional care across Emergency, OB, and inpatient settings.
