Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver essential respiratory care and patient support in an engaging medical setting as a valued member of the care team. Skilled professionals with Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials are needed to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy alongside compassionate colleagues. Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Proven experience in acute or sub-acute healthcare settings Strong clinical respiratory therapy skills, including carrying out physician-ordered therapies, ventilator management, and airway care Ability to perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function tests A solid foundation in infection control and safety protocols Excellent communication and documentation skills Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients of varying ages and diagnoses Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure high standards of patient care Administer prescribed interventions such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy Manage and monitor non-invasive and invasive ventilation, including setup, troubleshooting, and weaning of support Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments Accurately document patient assessment, interventions, and responses
