Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on patient care while working alongside a skilled healthcare team delivering respiratory therapy services. This contract opportunity is seeking capable individuals with strong clinical knowledge and a dedication to excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Valid respiratory care practitioner license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Experience with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing Strong critical thinking and communication abilities Previous clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care therapies in accordance with physician orders and patient needs Monitor, document, and adjust patient ventilatory support and other respiratory treatments Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness Respond rapidly and effectively to respiratory emergencies and code situations Educate patients and families about respiratory health and procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes This contract assignment offers the chance to expand your skills while working with patients of diverse backgrounds.
