The RT I is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The RT I will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote excellent patient experience. The RT I is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.

Diploma Program Additional requirements: § Type of degree : Applied Science or Equivalent § Area of study or major : Respiratory Care § Preferred educational qualifications : N/A § Position specific testing requiremen t: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration § Valid Ohio Respiratory Care License § Valid Certified Respiratory Therapist Credential through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) § BLS § ACLS within 90 days of new hire or based upon course availability
