Registered Respiratory Therapist in Coleman, OK

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled respiratory care professional to join a close-knit team in a small hospital environment. This role is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a background in emergency department and/or medical-surgical settings. Respiratory therapists from LTAC facilities are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule/Hours:

8-week assignment, with the possibility of extension 3 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday) Day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM No weekend shifts required

Qualifications:

Current certification or registration as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) Experience in emergency department (ED) or medical-surgical (Med/Surg) units Ventilator management skills Ability to adapt to a small facility setting—no ICU, 25-bed hospital Active and unrestricted state license for practice Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population Manage ventilators, perform respiratory assessments, and administer appropriate therapies Respond promptly to urgent respiratory needs in ED and Med/Surg units Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide seamless patient care Document treatments and outcomes accurately according to facility standards
