Respiratory Therapist Job Summary:

A Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. They work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans and monitor the progress of patients with conditions such as asthma, emphysema, pneumonia, and other respiratory ailments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate lung function Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and medications Educate patients on how to use prescribed medications and equipment Monitor and assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans Respond to emergency situations where respiratory care is required Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications and Skills:
