Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (temporary contract) Flexible hours may be available depending on assignment specifics
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy interventions to patients of all ages Assess, plan, and administer appropriate respiratory treatments as prescribed Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure quality patient care Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and self-care techniques Accurately document patient care and response to interventions
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Strong clinical skills and sound judgment in emergency situations Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols Previous experience in acute or critical care settings preferred
