Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials. Valid state licensure as required. Previous experience in acute care or hospital environments preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
BLS/ACLS
certifications (as applicable). Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services to patients in need, including administering treatments and managing ventilators. Perform diagnostic procedures, such as arterial blood gas analysis. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
