Monday-Friday / flexibility as needed About Us Penn Home Medical Supply Co., LLC is a growing durable medical equipment company proudly serving patients across Western and Central Pennsylvania. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care, prompt service, and high-quality respiratory equipment setup and education. We are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist or highly experienced respiratory equipment specialist to join our team. Position Summary This position is responsible for the delivery, setup, patient education, and follow-up of respiratory equipment including: CPAP BiPAP Non-Invasive Ventilators Oxygen equipment Related respiratory supplies and accessories The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, dependable, and confident working independently with patients in the home, office, hospital, or discharge setting. Primary Responsibilities Set up and educate patients on CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator equipment Instruct patients and caregivers on proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and compliance Fit and troubleshoot masks, tubing, humidification, and accessories Review physician orders and ensure proper setup based on prescribed therapy Provide patient education on respiratory diagnoses and treatment goals Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide follow-up support Assist with oxygen and respiratory equipment setups as needed Document all patient interactions, setup notes, and education thoroughly and accurately Communicate professionally with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and internal staff Support compliance and follow-up initiatives for PAP and respiratory patients Ensure all services are performed in a professional, timely, and patient-focused manner
Qualifications :
Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in
Pennsylvania Drivers License Also Considered:
Experienced sleep / PAP setup specialist Experienced DME respiratory technician Candidates with strong experience in: CPAP / BiPAP setups Ventilator patient education Oxygen setups Home respiratory care Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and patient education skills Comfortable working independently and in the field Ability to lift, carry, and transport respiratory equipment Experience with PAP therapy, oxygen, and non-invasive ventilation strongly preferred DME, sleep, pulmonary, hospital discharge, or home care experience is a major plus We are looking for someone who: Has a great bedside manner Can build trust quickly with patients and referral sources Is dependable and detail-oriented Can confidently educate patients on respiratory equipment Takes pride in delivering a high-end patient experience Why Join Us?
