Schedule/Hours:

36 hours per week Night shifts Must be available to work weekends and holidays No block scheduling No on-call requirements Contract duration: 4-5 weeks

Qualifications:

Current Rhode Island Respiratory Therapist license required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred Experience in acute care or hospital settings highly desirable Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities

Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary Operate and maintain various types of respiratory equipment Document patient information accurately and promptly in medical records Attend to emergency situations and deliver care efficiently under pressure Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies and equipment use Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines
