Travel contract assignment (specific schedule details provided upon interview)Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials Valid state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist BLS and ACLS certification required Previous experience in acute/critical care or rehabilitation settings is a plus Strong communication and patient education skillsResponsibilities:
Evaluate and develop patient-specific treatment plans, including initial and ongoing respiratory assessments Administer routine and intensive respiratory therapies (ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, humidification, oxygenation) Conduct chest physiotherapy, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), oximetry, and capnography monitoring Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function tests (NIF, VC) Support advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, and chest tube placements Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and hand-off communication Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Adhere to all lab testing protocols and hospital policiesBenefits and Perks:
