As an In-Home Health Care RT, you'll have the unique privilege of building meaningful relationships with your patients, providing holistic care that extends beyond medical needs to truly touch their lives.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in their homes, including assessment, treatment, and education Set up, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment such as oxygen therapy devices, CPAP/BiPAP machines, ventilators, and nebulizers Perform patient assessments, including respiratory status, oxygen saturation, and response to treatment Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and caregivers on proper use of equipment, medications, and disease management Ensure compliance with physician orders, state regulations, and company policies Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner Respond to patient needs and troubleshoot equipment issues as necessary Participate in on-call rotation as required
Qualifications:
Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Tennessee Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience (home health experience preferred) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience with home ventilators and chronic disease management Prior home health or durable medical equipment (DME) experience Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Apply Today and Make a Meaningful Difference!
