1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics travel assignment at a major medical center in New Orleans, LA. Details 12-week travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a large medical center in New Orleans, LA Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30-07:00 Every other weekend coverage required Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Active CRT or RRT credential required; state license required if applicable Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Must be an experienced RT; new graduates will not be considered Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information First-time travelers are accepted for this position, provided the candidate has solid RT experience Upon starting, the unit manager may assign staff to an Emergency Team, which may require remaining at the facility during or after an emergency event or serving on a relief team Candidates not comfortable with emergency team expectations should not apply for this position Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
