Know Your Team:
Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. Responsibilities This position is responsible for the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, emergency airway/respiratory management, documentation of the procedures performed and their effect, cleaning and performing user service on equipment, preparation of all departmental paperwork, entering and retrieving patient information from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and maintain the work area in a clean organized manner.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate of Applied Science Degree from an accredited school of Respiratory Care. Current Registered Respiratory Therapist License with the Texas Medical Board and the National Board of Respiratory Care. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ACLS certification. Current PALS and NRP certifications within 6 months of employment.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Previous experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
