Full-time, travel assignment
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Active and unencumbered state license for Respiratory Therapy (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start) Previous clinical experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred Flexibility to adapt to new environments and patient populations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices Administer oxygen, mechanical ventilation, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy Monitor patient responses and document care using electronic health records (EHR) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care
