Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Provo Rehab & Nursing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and respiratory status regularly. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Perform routine and emergency respiratory care procedures. Ensure proper maintenance and use of respiratory equipment.

Qualifications:

Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Utah Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications are a plus Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Pay:

$36.00 - $42.00 per hour
