Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC Current and unrestricted state respiratory therapy license Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations preferred Proficiency in ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary diagnostics Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS is a plus) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions Manage mechanical ventilators and oxygen therapy devices Assist with emergency resuscitation procedures as needed Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes Accurately document all procedures, assessments, and interventions
